We're in a celebratory mood at Oliver Sweeney this season, as it is 20 fabulous years since we introduced our iconic Goodyear Storm Welted collection. We have selected a few of our favourites from the original 1991 "Walk of Art" collection, added to them, and given all the styles a modern update with new last shapes and on-trend colours.
The famous original Commando sole from ITshide, renowned for its incredible durability and great gripping qualities, gives a pleasingly chunky profile to both our plain and brogue styles. Goodyear Storm Welted with a mid sole in EVA, a soft and flexible elastic-like material, so they're lighter than they look too.

Cooper, an elegant plain derby in which British originality and tradition is married with our confident styling. Inspired by the original Barrymore derby from 1991, it is available in Black and Burgundy.

For best results use a good quality beeswax to polish your shoes. Beeswax polish permeates deep into the leather and keeps it supple. Ideally, leave the beeswax on overnight and then remove in the morning with a soft brush or cloth. To extend the life of your shoes use good quality wooden shoe trees. They will absorb the perspiration from the day and increase the life of the leather.
