The Holman is a simple, elegant, understated formal shoe made from golf leather for improved durability and Blake stitched to enable the leather sole to be easily replaced when the time comes. A Sweeney favourite, the Holman is the ideal choice for the business chic look without extravagant trimmings.

For best results use a good quality beeswax to polish your shoes. Beeswax polish permeates deep into the leather and keeps it supple. Ideally, leave the beeswax on overnight and then remove in the morning with a soft brush or cloth. To extend the life of your shoes use good quality wooden shoe trees. They will absorb the perspiration from the day and increase the life of the leather.

    Had previously purchased these in Tan, and they were so comfortable, and looked so good I wanted a pair in black for work. Although on line it stated they had no stock in my size, the Manchester Store managed to locate a pair and got them delivered to them the next day so I guess it's always worth a phone call. These are a fantastic pair of shoes, and I am just trying to see if I can justify buying them in the brown as well!
