Our Tamponato and Tattoo Pop Up Event in Selfridges has been so successful that we're keeping it running until 26th August. However, as of Monday 20th August we'll be turning the pop up into a virtual event.

You'll still be able to buy your shoes, create or choose your tattoo designs from our display book and we'll then send them to you or you can pick them up from store.

We're taking shoe customisation to another level this month with our Walk of Art pop up in Selfridges.
Since the launch of our first Oliver Sweeney ‘Tattoo Your Shoe’ pop up in Selfridges last September, we’ve seen you unleash your creative side like never before. This year we thought we’d give you more to play with!

Walk of Art will showcase a range of customising techniques: Tattoo Your Shoe, a Tamponato service and a selection of coloured shoe laces to add that finishing touch to the customer’s Sweeneys.
Tamponato is the Italian art of hand colouring shoes; colour is applied in layers to raw leather using brushes and sponges. This gives the shoes a beautiful antique patina and allows the use of different colours and hand painted designs under the tamponato surface. This type of finish is only normally available on shoes at least double our price. 



With a variety of ways to personalise your shoes, you'll be able to walk your own path safe in the knowledge that your Sweeneys are truly unique.
Our pop up parlour in Selfridges’ Men’s Shoe Department, Floor 1, will be running from 1st August until 19th August 2012.
