A week on from our look at the on court greats and their stylish traditions at the world famous Wimbledon, we thought it right to turn our attention to today's tournament. Lucky us, we took a little trip there on Friday, and when not watching Murray et al do their thing, we had our eyes firmly on the sartorial highlights of the day.

if you dont know what the difference beetwen split sole and full sole yet you definitely shoudl not worry about your pointe shoes split sole has 2 pieces of leather on the bottom of the show a small one for the heel and a larger one for your meta tarsals area (sp?). full is just a full long sole almost like the ones regular shoes have .i suggest you buy the split sole canvas first since they are usually less expensive and are the most common as far as pointe shoes .well there are many brands and styles and within the styles there are different sometimes different makers like freeds. so really it all depends on your foot and your level of comfort WHEN YOU ARE READY FOR POINTE SHOES i suggest you go get professionally fitted. might cost some money but its worth it since it could illiminate the whole trial and error .and if you have the wrong shoes you could easily get injured . good luck!
