Online Sales Advisor – London

Reporting to the Sales and Operation Manager, the Online Sales Advisor will carry out sales activities so as to maintain and develop sales of Oliver Sweeney products online, in accordance with agreed sales strategies and targets.

You will be involved in a wide array of tasks in order to deliver sales performance in line with online sales targets.


Main activities are including:

  • Providing help and advice to customers using Oliver Sweeney’s Live chat feature
  • Communicating courteously with customers occasionally by telephone, email or any other mean of communication
  • Liaise with the sales and operation manager in order to implement the online promotion plan through live chat
  • Ensure the products displayed on the website are coherent with seasonality, promotional plan, stocks and sales.
  • Handling customer major complaints coming through live chat, phone and email.
  • Develop and implement a more proactive approach of Live chat feature in order to maximise sales generated by this channel
  • Liaising with other departments in order to feed-back any comment that customers may have regarding our products or services
Qualifications - 2+ years’ experience working within fashion industry in a similar role - Strong interest for the products sold - Strong knowledge of customer service best practice - Great work ethic and willingness to go above and beyond the role

Communications Manager

We’re looking for a creative and passionate Communications Manager to join the Creative Team at Oliver Sweeney. The role will report into the Head of Creative and will be responsible for driving engagement and brand awareness through online content, PR and social channels.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute an engaging and effective content strategy in line with current business objectives and trends
  • Write strong copy for all aspects of the business, including blogs, advertising, ecommerce, emails and press releases, that follows the brand tone of voice and engages and excites our customers
  • Execute the digital and social strategy, in line with the overall business objectives and securing maximum coverage
  • Answer daily press enquiries (by phone and email), responding in a timely manner with imagery, product information and samples
  • Meet regularly with press, bloggers and social influencers and seek new relationships
  • Monitor and collate coverage across all platforms in a timely and organised manner, ensuring year on year growth
  • Listen to the overall conversation around the brand and provide analysis to inform future planning
  • Develop creative ideas for PR, advertising, events and social media
  • Maintain media lists and editorial calendars
  • Manage the press stock cupboard and all product loans
  • Champion the brand tone of voice and ensure it is consistent across all communications
  • Able to work full-time hours. Plus, available to assist and support at events, outside of office hours, including press days, launches, parties etc

  • Excellent written English
  • Strong and established press and influencer relationships
  • Strong understanding of social networking
  • Knowledge of SEO best practice
  • Highly organised with extreme attention to detail
