Our pristine, whole cut, tassel loafer from our artisan factory in Le Marche, Italy. A whole-cut uses one large piece of leather from the prime cut of the hide, producing a clean, aesthetic. The upper quickly and comfortably moulds to your foot, uninhibited by seams.

Our pristine, whole cut, tassel loafer from our artisan factory in Le Marche, Italy. A whole-cut uses one large piece of leather from the prime cut of the hide, producing a clean, aesthetic. The upper quickly and comfortably moulds to your foot, uninhibited by seams. Pereta is made from calf leather, antique finished by hand, and fully leather lined. The upper detail includes twin tassels, a piped topline and an ‘air cord’ apron and side seams, whereby the leather is moulded over a cord and stitched. This gives the traditional loafer detailing, whilst retaining all the benefits of a whole-cut shoe. The upper is blake stitched to a leather sole with our signature thumb print rubber tread, for additional practicality.

The Bologna Construction
This Italian speciality dates from the early 1900s. The upper is stitched to a soft leather sock rather than a traditional insole board, to form a 'glove'. This is then Blake Stitched from the inside of the shoe to the sole. The resultant sleek profile produces an exceptionally comfortable formal shoe.
