Our classic toecap Oxford is built on an elegant, formal last and made from antique finished, tan Adigo calf leather, with a ¾ calf leather lining and half leather cushioned insock. The design has a neatly piped topline and punch detail around the topline and toecap The upper is Blake stitched to a leather sole and we’ve included a rubber heel piece for extra practicality.

The Blake Stitched Construction

This is a speciality of our Italian factory in Le Marche. The upper is stitched to the outsole from the inside of the shoe. As no welt is required the result is a sleeker, more elegant profile, making it an ideal construction for formal shoes.

Made in India

Based in Chennai in Southern India, our family run factory group is accredited for its exacting, high ecological and ethical standards. With over 50 years of experience in traditional shoe making, the factories are masters at Blake Stitched, Norwegian welted and are considered to be among the best in the world for the Goodyear welted construction. The major difference is that the highly skilled craftsmen have also mastered the Italian art of Tamponato and hand finishing, producing high quality footwear with a hand built depth of colour and unique antiqued patina.
