Our casual moccasin is from our specialist factory in Spain. A classic penny loafer, the style has a hand-stitched saddle and apron seam, with laced quarters and the traditional horizontal seam on the heel counter. A moccasin is a flexible, comfortable construction that wraps the leather underfoot. The soft calf suede upper in dark chocolate brown is fully lined in calf leather with a leather cushioned insock, and Blake stitched to a rubber outsole.

The Moccasin Construction
This ancient, simple construction is associated with the traditional footwear of the native North American population. The leather is wrapped underneath the foot and stitched to the apron on top of the foot, forming a ‘sock’. The construction doesn’t require an insole board, so is flexible and comfortable. In modern times the upper is stitched from the inside through a sole.
