The Norwegian Welt sits in a league of its own through the time and dedication given by our craftsmen to its construction. Inspired by a vintage Austrian mountaineering boot found in an antique market, we worked closely with our craftsman and team for over three years in the Norwegian Welted design to ensure we created an exceptional product.
The welt is stitched in two separate ways; sideways through the upper to the insole and vertically to the sole, taking the Goodyear construction to the next level: ensuring durability in any environment you want to throw at it.
The leather for our Oxenholme boot was sourced from the famous Horween tannery in Chicago, stuffed with beeswax and beef tallow for a waterproof, smooth and refined finish. Our Ollerton shoe is crafted from box calf leather from the Weinheimer tannery in southwestern Germany. This leather is considered amongst the best in the world and derives from alpine cattle that graze at over 1500m to ensure a flawless finish.
