An aviator jacket is an iconic style, designed to last for years. Our Dunbittern is made from ‘double faced’ sheepskin (the whole hide) with the hide side providing the outer leather and the fleece, the warm lining throughout the whole jacket including the sleeves, collar and pocket lining. An additional leather internal pocket has been added for cards and keys. The classic brown distressed finish creates a vintage aesthetic, trimmed with an antique brass zip, and antiqued brass buckles and eyelets on the storm collar and waist cinches.

I have been searching for a new shearling jacket for some months and I had considered buying the Belstaff Wilder Jacket. In one search the Oliver Sweeney Dunbittern jacket came up and the reviews were all 5 star. I received the jacket this afternoon and I can understand why. The quality is excellent, the jacket is heavy and the fleece thick. Looks great on and will only improve with wearing. My only minor criticism is that it could have done with a chunkier zip. However it cost less than half the price of the Belstaff jacket.
