Description

Our new cupsole trainer is made from dark brown milled leather – a tumbled, grainy textured leather with a soft feel. The upper pattern has clean lines with neatly folded seams and side panels and a cushioned collar. Inside we’ve included a ¾ calf leather lining and a full leather insock. Made in the traditional way the upper is cemented to a lightweight white rubber cupsole and secured with a side stitch.

I was shocked at the poor quality. The weight of them feels like something made out of memory foam. The seem like a glorified version of sketchers. The lightest footwear that I’ve ever encountered. If I’d have picked them up in the shop, I would’ve put them straight back down.. Only consolation is I’ve got them to reduce sale price. It would’ve brought my heart if I had paid the full price for them.

Smaller fit

I have dozens of Oliver Sweeney shoes, they are fantastic quality at a fair price. I don’t have a problem with the fit if I buy UK 10 size but these particular shoes/trainers although beautifully made were too tight both in width and across the top of my foot. I would suggest buying half a size larger at least for this ‘exclusive’ .

Poor Build

Having tried the pumps on for size they seemed OK however after a few minutes walking, I badly blistered the top of my foot. On inspection there was excess material on the internal structure which cause pressure in the top of my foot and made them cause blisters.
