Our Moycullen toe cap oxford is classed as a ‘semi brogue’, as it has a toe cap instead of a wingtip. The brogue detail lifts the otherwise plain oxford making it more versatile for both formal and less formal occasions. The black calf leather upper has a mid sheen and is fully lined in calf leather with a leather insock. The upper is Goodyear welted to a sturdy leather sole, with our signature green waist and rubber edged heel.

The Goodyear Welted Construction
This traditional English construction has been around for over 150 years. The upper is stitched (Good year welted) to a ridge on the insole and a strip of leather - the welt. The outer sole is then attached by stitching through the welt, midsole and sole around the outside of the shoe. This keeps water away from the upper, resulting in a sturdy and practical construction, that can be resoled many times.
