A new leather moccasin boat shoe from our specialist factory in Spain. The moccasin construction is a wrap of leather under the foot, which is then stitched to the apron. As a traditional insole board is not required, this produces a comfortable flexible shoe. The unlined tan calf leather has a casual look; although soft, it is relatively sturdy and we have included a cushioned leather insock. The traditional boat shoe design has three antiqued brass eyelets and a leather lace with a bright turmeric edge. The upper is Blake stitched to a flexible neutral coloured rubber outsole.

The Moccasin Construction
This ancient, simple construction is associated with the traditional footwear of the native North American population. The leather is wrapped underneath the foot and stitched to the apron on top of the foot, forming a ‘sock’. The construction doesn’t require an insole board, so is flexible and comfortable. In modern times the upper is stitched from the inside through a sole.
