Our new funnel neck full zip is a Milano knit in a merino wool blend. Made with fine yarn this is a compact, dense knit (a heavier weight than our standard Merino wool knits) with a neat flat finish and good dimensional stability. The jumper is fully fashioned with a dropped shoulder seam to keep a clean profile, with two lower patch pockets and a silver zip.

This is without. doubt an epically good knit and of very high quality. Unfortunately (as I found with the shirts) these must be aimed at a more portly gent than I as even in the smallest sizes with perfect fit on shoulders, back and arms, I could put a space hopper up the belly of it. The waist measurement on a zip up or shirt had never been a consideration until I tried these items from Sweeney..

I have been buying Oliver Sweeney’s full zip jumpers for a few years now as THE best - and best vfm in terms of how often I wear them! (Plus a total upgrade on any of the ubiquitous cheaper part zips) So this one is definitely a bit heavier in weight , which is very welcome in North Yorkshire, so my only query would be the need/use for the double zip fastening beyond being a design feature?
