This beauty has been retrieved from our archive and still feels ahead of its time. Lopes is set on a broader toed last than a standard cupsole trainer and is underlaid with a tan leather welt. This creates a striking individual look with a slightly deeper profile. The body is made from soft sand calf nubuck with a tan leather trim at the heel. Nubuck is a full grain leather with the surface lightly buffed to create a soft, matt finish - eminently finer than suede. The design is a ‘lace-to-toe’ with twin stitch row detail and light cushioning on the collar and tongue. Inside there is a full calf leather lining and cushioned leather insole. The white rubber cupsole has a grey outer tread and is secured with a side stitch.

Very comfortable from the off and will make a great summer shoe. I normally take a 9.5 size in OS shoes but, as no half sizes in these trainers, went for the 10 and they fit really well on my feet. Worth also adding that my shoes came threaded with terracotta laces as opposed to the pale ones shown on the website but the pale laces were included in the box, giving you a choice. However, these laces had a fault with a black core poking through the weave near the end but the brilliant and cheerful Sarah in customer care managed to source another pair as, a little surprisingly, spare laces for exact replacements are not always readily to hand at OS and thus were not immediately available. Very happy - thank you.
Unfortunately I received the wrong colour shoes. I ordered Taupe, but the shoes I received are sand. Disappointing, as they were for taking on Holiday and couldn’t reorder the right ones as they were then out of stock in my size. The were also slightly damaged.
The best quality ever .
Ordered a 12 and it’s an 11. So I would assume this will affect all sizes. They don’t do a 13 so a lost sale today Oliver!
