In our latest collaboration with East London designer Luke Derrick, the Oxford Runner reinvents the classic Oxford archetype for the pace and expectations of the modern city.

Built to evoke at-a-glance traditional elegance, it conceals ease and mobility through a laceless fastening system and a high-traction Vibram® sole. This technical foundation is engineered to be subtly hidden from view, camouflaged through hand-antiqued shading of the vegetable-tanned Tuscan calf leather upper.

Handcrafted in our family-run factory in Marche, Italy, the traditionally crafted whole-cut construction allows the shoe to adapt to the form of the wearer and weather gracefully through time.

When I first saw these online, I searched everywhere for something similar from USA‑based retailers — nothing came close. I finally ordered directly from Oliver Sweeney, and my only regret is not ordering sooner. They shipped immediately and reached the USA quickly, even though I briefly panicked when I saw them sitting in customs before an upcoming business trip. They still arrived in time.

I hope a USA retailer eventually carries this line, because I’d love to pick up the Midnight (blue) pair next.
