A great soft square toe last forms the chassis for this formal derby. Povoa is handcrafted in Portugal using the traditional Blake Stitched construction and stitched to a leather sole with a rubber forepart which ensures durability whilst keeping a low profile. The calf leather upper has been highly polished by hand for a formal finish.

Blake Stitched Construction

Our Italian shoes are made using the traditional Blake stitched construction. The stitching of the leather upper through the insole and sole removes the need for a welt, creating a beautiful and refined shoe.

This is a top quality shoe however for me the finish is too "smooth and shiny" so have returned. I have found that the sizing is very variable in OS shoes - this one was ok (think it was made in Portugal) but others have been up/down. Overall though OS shoes are a quality product and the ordering/return if needed service has been excellent to date.

Nice dark brown whole cut shoes that definitely look good Only time will tell if they last and remain comfortable Good value at the sale price but at full price there is a lot of high quality competition

Not the detail I expected

A lot plainer than I anticipated - not as good as brand I normally
chose - disappointed at reduced price
