A pristine formal loafer from our artisan factory in Le Marche, Italy. Vasto has a slightly squared, elongated toe shape and a clean, elegant profile, with neatly folded apron seams, a slim simple saddle and a piped topline. The burgundy calf leather upper is built from layer upon layer of colour, applied by hand and meticulously polished to produce an antique finish and unique patina. Fully lined in calf leather, we have cushioned the leather insock and lined the back counter in suede for heel grip. The loafer is blake stitched to a leather sole with a closed channel to cover the stitch.

Our Italian shoes are made using the traditional Blake stitched construction. The stitching of the leather upper through the insole and sole removes the need for a welt, creating a beautiful and refined shoe.

Delighted with my Vasto Burgundy

Am very pleased with my Vasto Burgundy loafers. The styling has a sleek, modern look and I love the shade and tone of the leather. The fit is slightly tight but not uncomfortably so. I've worn them several times so far and the shoes are comfortable and will naturally expand to fit even better.

Perfect loafers - Vasto Burgundy

Just received the Vasto Burgundy loafers. Beautiful sleek design, rich colour, well made. It does size a touch small, but for loafers, that's preferred as they won't slip off and will also expand after time. I wanted a high quality penny loafer which was a bit more contemporary in design, and the Vasto absolutely fits to a T. Didn't hurt that I got it on sale too. Perfect shoes which look as great with chinos/denim or a suit...can be dressed up or down without missing a beat!
