Description

Our formal trimmed loafer is from our artisan factory in Le Marche Italy. The dark tan upper is made from pristine calf leather - layers of dye are applied by hand building a real depth of colour before polishing. The elegant loafer has a neatly folded apron seam and simple saddle with a classic antiqued brass horse bit trim. Fully lined in calf leather the upper is Blake stitched to a leather sole with a closed channel to conceal and protect the stitch. We’ve tipped the leather stack heel with a rubber top-piece for extra practicality.

I’ve been pondering this purchase for dome time and decided to take the plunge. I’m usually a size 9 eg recent OS boot purchase, however often an 8.5 in a loafer GH Bass for instance so went for a 8.5 uk with this one. The fit is perfect as is the look. Exactly as the pics. Really pleased with the purchase and speed of delivery.

Colour and quality of the leather were as per the webpage and the shoes as usual were a good fit. The design works well with smart formal trousers or more casual e.g. jeans. I think they would probably work well with a good pair of dress shorts.
