Our Tadley trainer is made from brown soft calf suede with a calf leather ¾ lining, full leather cushioned insock and padding around the collar and tongue. Made in the traditional way the upper is side stitched to a white rubber cupsole.

Suede may be a little more delicate than leather, but cleaning and caring for suede shoes is a lot easier than you think

My other four pairs of OS shoes and boots are the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned straight out of the box. So I was surprised to find these really aren’t. I am hoping there is a breaking in period and then they get better but I did not expect this with trainers. Quality of finish is as usual excellent and i am very glad I got these on the sale and not full price.
Really disappointed with them so far.

Smart looking trainers but.....

Good to get these on sale with excellent discount as I don't think they are worth the full asking price. Quality is per OS standards, but they don't feel that comfortable out of the box! Maybe there's a breaking in period, but in my opinion one should not have to break in trainers. Keeping them since they look smart and so long as I don't have to wear them all day. I think this is the issue with most smart trainers, look great but not that comfy, and certainly not for long walks.
