Description

Our serviceable Bythborough Chelsea boot is designed for the rugged outdoors. The waxed Tailgate leather undergoes a unique tanning process and is treated with natural waxes and oils to improve the water resistance. We’ve also included a waterproof membrane bag inside the boot to keep the water firmly out. The leather has a characterful, matt, tumbled texture with a smooth waxy feel. The character will continue to develop over the years and the waxes in the leather can be replenished from time to time with a balsam. There is sturdy woven back pull tab and we’ve chosen a practical, sturdy, cleated rubber Vibram sole, lifted with a contrasting light coloured stitch to complement the upper.

I actually bought these to be a rough/tough option for wet and muddy trips to the pub, but they're almost too good for that, so I'm currently gently nursing them into real life! Sure they'll get muddy at some stage, and I have no doubt they'll handle that perfectly. Really well made, robust, and with a fantastic vibram sole.
