Description

Our Moccasin boot is made in Spain with a dark taupe soft calf suede upper. A moccasin wraps a layer of leather under the foot securing to an apron seam on the top of the foot. The simple upper pattern has a suede back pull tab and is lined in calf leather with a cushioned full leather insock. The upper is cemented to a rubber outsole with a crepe texture, topped with a stitched leather rand.

Elche is a region in southern Spain renowned as a hub of shoemaking. We have hand picked our artisan factories for their individual specialist constructions; espadrilles and moccasins.

Moccasin Construction

This ancient, simple construction is associated with the traditional footwear of the native North American population. The leather is wrapped underneath the foot and stitched to the apron on top of the foot, forming a ‘sock’.

Suede Shoes Care Guide

Suede may be a little more delicate than leather, but cleaning and caring for suede shoes is a lot easier than you think

It is disappointing that the sizing of the footwear is so uneven . My shoe size is 9, but there is no guaratee that a size 9 will fit. I could not get my foot into this boot Xixona. The opening was too narrow to allow my foot to get into the boot. Other footwear easily accomodate, such as Sirolo.
It would be helpful if descriptions of the shoes would give some indication of the fit as clearly they are not consistent across the range.
