Our Fisherman’s sandal is from our specialist factory in Spain. The upper pattern was traditionally designed as cool summer footwear made from straps to allow water to flow out and secured to the foot with a back strap. The central strap equally secures the foot from the front of the shoe and offers ‘toe modesty’ for those that require it! We’ve selected a sand oiled calf nubuck for the leather with an antiqued brass buckle for the three-hole strap adjustment. Additional comfort is provided by the extra layer of cushioning between the leather sock lining and moulded cork footbed which is finished with a lightweight practical rubber outsole.

I took the advice from others and went a size down. I’m usually a size 9 - 9.5 (43 - 44 euro size) went for the size 8 and they for perfectly. Some people have mentioned the back strap is too short. I have to have mine on the largest setting but the fit great and lovely quality as always from Oliver Sweeney. Thank you
Great sandals
Great-looking sandals, and obviously high quality, but the buckles and straps are almost impossible to fasten.
I sized down as advised, and this was good advice - the fit was good.
But the location of the buckle and the short length of the strap make them very fiddly to put on. I decided that investing 5 minutes per shoe every time I wanted to take them on or off would drive me mad.
So these were returned - a shame because they did look great.
Be aware that the sandals are manufactured 1 size larger than standard sizes which perhaps should be stated on the website. I am size 8 UK and had to return mine for a size 7. Customer service was very quick at replacing them and overall happy with my purchase, High quality sandals, and very elegant
