Our new retro trainer is made in Spain from white deerskin - a supple but strong leather with a naturally grainy texture. The green flash of soft calf suede at the tongue and heel add to the retro feel. The style of the upper is often referred to as a ‘soccer toe’ - a pattern frequently used for professional sports shoes in the 60s and 70s. We have, however, included a full leather lining, cushioned leather insock and padded collar and tongue to bring it up to date. Perforations on the quarters provide a contrast of texture and perforate through the lining in parts for ventilation. We’ve catapulted the style into 2025 with a super lightweight durable compound sole with a deeper and wider profile than that of its predecessors, secured with a side stitch.
