Description

Our rugged Sarzedo is based on a classic biker boot. The dark brown Waxy Commander leather is from the renowned C F Stead tannery in Leeds. The leather is a thick cow suede that undergoes a unique tanning process with a blend of oils and waxes, to produce a water resistant leather with a characterful rugged finish. The ankle is designed to be close fitting, with an antique brass zip, secured with a leather top strap fastened with a press stud. For the sole we've opted for a sturdy leather inlaid with a rubber cleated tread and a cleated rubber top piece on the leather stacked heel for additional grip and practicality.

Great looking boots made to the standard I've come to expect from OS. As other reviews have noted can be a bit tight to get on but once the boot is on it's a great fit.

This isn't my first pair of Sarzedos. I already have a black pair and have also added the burgundy ones to my collection. I like the build quality, convenience and detailing on the boots, but it's the finish that really gets me. They come already 'worn in' and they get better with age. I bought my first pair of 'chukka' boots from Oliver Sweeney over 30 years ago and am still wearing them. No reason why I shouldn't be doing the same with my Sarzedos!
