Our iconic Italian formal 2 eyelet lace-up has been around for many years now and is produced at our artisan factory in Le Marche. The elongated upper in a flawless brown calf leather is neatly finished with a piped topline and seams, and, as you’d expect, we’ve included a full leather lining.

This is a speciality of our Italian factory in Le Marche. The upper is stitched to the outsole from the inside of the shoe. As no welt is required the result is a sleeker, more elegant profile, making it an ideal construction for formal shoes.

Our family run, artisan factory in Le Marche excels in tradition. Skilful hand finishing and time honoured shoe making techniques have been passed from generation to generation. The factory specialises in high specification formal footwear, with Blake-stitched and Bologna constructions, but they are also masters of clean cut casuals with hand antiqued finishes. The level of craftsmanship and attention to detail make Italy an ideal choice for new concepts and ranges, including our Sweeney Vintage collection and retro hiking boots.
