A new calf suede moccasin driving shoe from our specialist factory in Spain. The moccasin construction is a wrap of soft suede under the foot, which is then stitched to the apron. This produces a comfortable flexible shoe, as the traditional insole board is not required. The light grey calf suede upper is fully leather lined with a leather insock and leather lace. The traditional driving shoe sole is studded rubber, which protrudes through the leather providing a durable surface.

The Moccasin Construction
This ancient, simple construction is associated with the traditional footwear of the native North American population. The leather is wrapped underneath the foot and stitched to the apron on top of the foot, forming a ‘sock’. The construction doesn’t require an insole board, so is flexible and comfortable. In modern times the upper is stitched from the inside through a sole.
