Description

Our cupsole loafer is made from a single piece of milled calf leather with a grainy texture. The clean design features a neatly folded heel counter, a simple saddle and an ‘air cord’ apron seam whereby the upper is stitched over a cord to create a smooth, minimalist apron without any overlap. Inside we’ve included a half leather lining and full leather insock. Lasted in the traditional way the uppers are secured with a side stitch to a white cupsole made from an incredibly lightweight but durable compound.

I've been buying OS shoes, boots and clothing for decades and I'm a big fan.
I liked the look of these when I saw them online and they were great when they arrived; lovely and light– perfect for summer.
The fit was a little narrow, but that's par for the course with OS sneaker-type shoes (a wider option would be very welcome).
So I cheerily put them on, went out for the evening and walked a small distance home.
By the time I got back, I had two very sore blisters; one at the back of my right heel and one under my left ankle.
Both had opened up and left marks on the suede, which I've since tried to clear off.
Maybe I've just been unlucky, but it saddens me to say that I won't be wearing them again for some time : (
