Description

Our Bolhas work boot is made from Burgundy Todi calf leather with a naturally casual finish. The upper has two antique brass ski hooks and an ‘air cord’ apron seam, whereby the leather is moulded over a cord and stitched. This gives the traditional apron detailing, whilst retaining all the benefits of a whole piece of leather – the apron then extends to a bellows tongue, sealing the facings. Inside there is a full leather lining and insock and a padded collar. We’ve chosen a neutral-coloured lightweight Live Tech sole with a deep profile and strong cleat.

First Bolhas boot I’ve owned. I dropped down 0.5 a size as the 8 (42) felt too big. - though other reviews seem to have experienced the opposite! Surprisingly light to wear and seem fairly durable. I’ve upgraded from a pair of OS Pietro boots which I wore everywhere - tho’ not sure these will survive the same treatment? They seem more aesthetic than an out and out walking boot - but that’s no problem for me.

Delightful boot delivered expeditiously and without issue.. Out of the box, a beautiful boot, smart and stylish…However, even thou got is a very good fit (uk 12) there seems to be an issue in the left boot heel that is causing a blister… no pinching or pain elsewhere in the left boot and nothing in right boot.
It is a puzzlement…will continue with a “compeed “ and see what happens in time.
