Woven Calf Leather Slip-on Trainers
New from our specialist factory in Spain is our handwoven loafer trainer. Strips of calf leather are woven by hand to form a beautiful classic weave across the upper. The pattern is wholecut, which maintains uniformity across the weave and we’ve added an ‘aircord’ apron (rather than an actual seam). A piece of cord is sewn underneath before lasting – the heat then shrinks the leather over the cord forming a smooth raised seam. The upper has a smooth calf leather top-line and hand stitched saddle. Inside is a full leather insock and perforated leather lining to keep the trainer cool. The cupsole is made from a durable but lightweight compound and secured with a side stitch.
