These shoes look good in the box, look great on your feet. The look makes them ideal for formal office attire and an afternoon out with friends where trainers don't cut it.
The fit feels snug but not tight, very comfortable when clocking up the miles on a city commute. I have not worn them in the wet as of yet but as with all the pairs if Sweenys I have thats never been an issue. I had a pair of these in an ox blood colour about ten years ago, they have served me well and are still continue to do so, they may be pricey but we'll worth it in the long run.

Sizing a little out,I bought a 8.5 when normally an 8 due to remarks on other reviews and they’re still a little snug

I am tired of guessing and ordering multiple sizes of trainers as there seems to be no consistency of sizing across your trainer range,
I currently have 3 pairs of OS trainers, ranging from a very roomy size 8 to a tight size 9. I ordered these in a size 8 as they are the same as my current size 8 I already have however, they are almost too small to fit my foot into and so am returning for a refund. This must be the 3rd pair of trainers I have returned due to wrong size even though I take guidance from the size chart and the advice to go up a half size in some trainers.
The trainers themselves are well made and quality. Its just the lottery of knowing whether they will fit that really annoys me.

I bought these while visiting Ireland last summer, and they’ve become my favorite shoes of all time. They’re incredibly well-built, comfortable, and stylish—perfect for casual wear.

I actually hunted them down on the Internet, because I couldn't find them by browsing the O.S. store. Fortunately, I found the style name printed inside the tongue.
