Our long-awaited Goodyear welted loafer is made from black hi-shine calf leather antique finished by hand. The classic penny loafer style has an overlaid apron seam and the traditional saddle with penny cut out. Inside we’ve included a full calf leather lining with a half leather insock cushioned at the heel. The upper is set on a fairly wide toed last and Goodyear welted to a leather sole. Finally it is cemented to a deceptively light, chunky outer sole with inset cleats at the forepart, made from a super lightweight but durable compound.

Having looked at these fashionable boots on more than one occasion I decided to purchase a pair. Sadly whilst doing them up on the 2nd wear the lace on the right boot decided it had had enough and snapped 🥲. I’m not sure how the quality checks are carried out here but I’m almost certain this is the behaviour of laces that have been worn in wind and rain. Please send me a new pair of laces. Oliver Sweeney
Top quality boots made with quality leather. Good for the city or the country.
Looks great. But that’s about it. Inside the shoe height is too low and leather digs into top of my toes as I walk. Inside construction of the shoes is cheap , equivalent of $100 shoes. After wearing 2 times, I threw them away
Received these and was quite disappointed with the quality to be honest. The construction felt more Primark than Oliver Sweeney. Feather light and wafer thin, which isn't what you'd expect from something which looks so weighty and sturdy in the images. The fit also came up tiny, so buy a size up. I sent these back for a refund :(
Loving my latest Oliver Sweeney Helford boots, really balanced, purposeful design with a deep sole which makes them very comfortable. And the customer service team at Oliver Sweeney were fantastic when I decided to change the colour to black. First class!
